Cardiac Amyloidosis
General Meeting Information
This session provides a clinical practice update regarding the pathophysiology, diagnosis, management and advanced therapy considerations for cardiac amyloidosis. This session will review the emerging therapies, the genetics, the current therapies and the use of cardiac transplantation for the management of myocarditis.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this educational activity, the learner will be able to:
1. Explain the diagnosis and treatment strategies for patients with cardiac amyloid.
2. Discuss the genetics and the implications of patients with cardiac amyloid.
3. Select the appropriate imaging studies and cardiac amyloidosis.
