Recent Advances and Update on Myocarditis
General Meeting Information
This session provides a clinical practice update regarding the pathophysiology, diagnosis, management and advanced therapy considerations for acute and chronic myocarditis. This session will review the ongoing trials for myocarditis and highlight the recent scientific statements for the management of myocarditis.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this educational activity, the learner will be able to:
1. Explain the diagnosis, treatment strategies and functional recovery for patients with myocarditis.
2. Describe the molecular aspects of myocarditis.
3. Discuss the recent Scientific Statements and Ongoing Treatment Trials for Myocarditis.
